Chapter One-School
AN-Sorry people, but I messed up on Honto's Japanese name, it's HONDA not Honto. Gomen. Also, thanks to Cassie H, KT, Hells Angel, Saendie, Galileo, Raye Yuy, Escagirl, Lady Jadi, and Star Lin for reviewing!! The Prologue was a memory for anyone who was confused. Oh, and this is my first fic ever, so, if I mess up names and that, sorry. I just got into the fanfiction craze after reading Saendie's Value. You should read it, it's really good! This is gonna be a LOOONG chapter. Gomen it took so long to get this chapter out too, my computer is screwy lately. Hopefully I can update sooner.Anyway, onto the chapter or i'll never stop rambling.

"YUUGI!! YUUGI WAKE UP!!"
Yuugi Mouto, a teenager of 17, yelps and jumps straight in the air above his bed, coming down and seeing Sogoroku and Ashita looking at him laughing. The dream he just had totally leaving his mind as he deals with the new crisis at hand. Sogoroku looks like an older version of Yuugi somewhat. His hair is spiked the same way, with yellow highlights like his, but instead of his hair being black, it's grey. Sogoroku's eyes are a light grey. He is dressed in overalls and a light blue shirt. Tennis shoes are on his feet. Ashita, however, has brown hair that reaches her ankles. It is in a loose braid. She is in faded blue jeans and a lilac tank top. She is barefoot. Ashita has light purple eyes. (1)
"What?" asks Yuugi as he lands back on his bed.
"It's 6:45. You leave for the first day of school in thirty minutes. Get up" says Sogoroku, Yuugi's grandfather.
"Ten more minutes?" asks Yuugi hopefully.
"Iie. Get up." says Ashita, his mother.
"Allright. I'm going." growls Yuugi climbing out of bed. Ashita and Sogoroku start to leave. Yuugi digs under his bed and comes back up fast, his eyes wide.
"Okaasan, Jiisan, where's my Puzzle?" asks Yuugi scanning the room.
"Puzzle?" asks Ashita confused.
"My Millennuim Puzzle. The upside down pyramid I wear." says Yuugi. He is still scanning his room and isn't finding it.
"Oh! That old thing. I took it to a local jewelry store to get it cleaned up." says Ashita.
"WHAT?!" yells Yuugi scared, angry, and relieved at the same time.
"You'll get it when you get back today from school." says Ashita.
Yuugi groans but nods, knowing arguing would only get him in trouble. He gets out of bed as Ashita and Sogoroku leave the room, allowing him to get dressed.
/Yami? Can you hear me?/ asks Yuugi through his mental connection with his other half, his Yami.
//Aibou, what is going on?// asks Yami puzzled. Yuugi sighs in relief.
/Okaasan took the Puzzle to be cleaned./ says Yuugi. He giggles when he hears Yami growl.
//How are you going to be?//asks Yami.
/I guess i'll be allright for today. See you later, I gotta get dressed./ says Yuugi ending the connection. Yuugi glances at the clock to see it reads exactly seven o clock in the morning.
"I'm gonna be late!" exclaims Yuugi as he dives under his bed for his tennis shoes and some socks. Fifteen minutes later, he runs downstairs in blue dress slacks, a black shirt tucked in with a black belt, and a blue jacket of sorts. Black tennis shoes are on his feet. Yuugi then stops in his tracks.
*That was Yami I saw in the dream!* He exclaims as it hits him. He doesn't pause to think of it, as he has less than ten minutes to get to his school. Ashita walks in.
"No time for food?" asks Ashita.
"Sorry Okaasan, but school starts in less than ten minutes." says Yuugi grabbing his bookbag and his duel monsters deck. He stuffs the deck in a side pocket before running out the door. He looks in his other hand to see a muffin.
*Thanks Okaasan!* thinks Yuugi as he runs down the street to his new school, Azubu Juuban High School. He enters the building as soon as the tardy bell rings.
says Yuugi running down the hallway to his class, which is 2-1. He actually passes it as he is suddenly at 2-2.
"Oops." says Yuugi backtracking. He stops in front of 2-1 and sighs deeply before opening the door. People's heads swirl to the door, and the teacher glares at Yuugi.
"Who are you?" asks the teacher. The teacher has long red hair in a ponytail with violet eyes. She is dressed in faded jeans and a baby blue long sleeved shirt. Blue tennis shoes are on her feet.
"I am Mouto Yuugi, Sensai." says Yuugi. The teacher's attitude changes in a second.
"Oh! Gomen ne. I am Miss. Haruna. Welcome. Please, come to the front of the room and introduce yourself." says the teacher.
"Hai Sensai." says Yuugi walking up. He stops in the front of the class.
"Tell us your name and something you do for fun." says Miss. Haruka.
"Hai. My name is Mouto, Yuugi and I play Duel Monsters." says Yuugi. The class erupts in whispers. Yuugi hears a couple.
"Maybe he fought against the King of Games!"
"I heard he beat Seto Kaiba!"
"I heard he is the only one with Exodia!"
"Class, settle down!" calls Miss. Haruna. The class does.
"Now, where shall we put you..?" asks Miss. Haruna. She eyes the classroom.
"Ah-ha! Sit behind Tsukino Usagi. Usagi, raise your hand." says Miss. Haruna. A girl in the second to last row raises her hand. She has blond hair and clear blue eyes. Her hair is up in two odango shaped pigtails. She is dressed in a white sailor top with a blue collar and a red bow. A knee length blue skirt with a blue bow is the other half. White socks and black dress shoes complete the outfit. She also has crescent moon earrings in her ears. Yuugi nods and walks to his desk.
"Hi. I'm Usagi. You can call me Usagi or Usagi-chan if you want." says Usagi.
"Arigato. You can call me Yuugi or Yuugi-chan." says Yuugi.
"Tsukino-san!" barks Miss. Haruna.
"Hai?" asks Usagi turning around.
"Flirt with Mouto-san later! Pay attention!" says Miss. Haruna.
"I wasn't flirting!" protests Usagi. " I have a boyfriend!"
"Usagi-chan." says a girl to the left of Usagi. She has blue hair that is bobbed and dark blue eyes. Blue earrings are in her ears. Yuugi looks closely at the earrings to see that they are hearts perched on crosses and two lines are at the top of each heart. The girl is dressed in the same outfit as Usagi.
"Oh allright." says Usagi. She turns to the front of the class.
"Today is a free day as Mouto-san is new here. Make him feel welcomed. I will be back in ten minutes." says Miss. Haruna before walking out of the classroom.
"Hello Mouto-san. I am Mizuno Ami." says the girl.
"Hello Mizuno-san." says Yuugi.
"Call me Ami." smiles Ami.
"Then call me Yuugi." says Yuugi.
"Here are some rules at this school. One, there are two gangs here that everyone fears. One calls themselves The Onis and one calls themselves The Kaijuus. Oni means Demon and Kaijuu means Monster. Try to steer clear. The Oni's wear red bandannas and the Kaijuu's wear green bandannas. They never take them off. More than likely you will meet them both. They will make you try to choose a gang to join like they do with everyone. Say you aren't joining any gangs. If they continue to pester you, say you are under the Protection of Kino Makoto. They should run then." says Usagi.
"Usagi-chan!" says a girl walking up. She has brown hair in a ponytail. She has forest green eyes and is dressed the same as Usagi and Ami. In her ears are green fours. She also towers a couple inches over the two.
"Hi Mako-chan! This is Mouto Yuugi, Yuugi, Kino Makoto." says Usagi.
"Hello." says Yuugi.
"Hi Yuugi. Call me Makoto or Mako chan." says Makoto.
"Thanks." says Yuugi. "Um, tell me if I'm about to be rude, but what do your earrings stand for?"
"Oh. Mine are for the moon. My boyfriend, Chiba Mamoru, got them for me. Ami's stand for the planet Mercury and Makoto's stand for the planet Jupiter." says Usagi.
"Oh." says Yuugi.
"There are nine girls who protect Azubu Juuban and surrouding suburbs from monsters, real monsters. They call themselves the Senshi. There is one for each planet. We bought this earrings after our favorite senshi. Mine is Sailor Moon, Ami's is Sailor Mercury, and Makoto's is Sailor Jupiter." says Usagi. "Our other friends, Aino Minako and Hino Rei, also have earrings for their favorite Senshi."
"Correct! Hi everyone." says a girl with long blonde hair and clear blue eyes. her hair is held back by a red ribbon and she is dressed the same as the others. Orange earrings with hearts perched on a cross are on her ears.
"Mine stand for the Planet Venus and my fav Senshi is Sailor Venus. I'm Aino Minako by the way." says the girl.
"Mouto Yuugi." says Yuugi.
"Welcome to Azubu Juuban." says Minako.
"Yo! Mouto-san!" yells a voice. Yuugi, Usagi, Ami, Makoto, and Minako turn their heads to see three boys with red bandannas on their heads.
"The Oni's head three." says Usagi. One boy is taller than the other two and has green eyes. His hair is black and he is dressed in blue jeans and a red shirt. White tennis shoes are on his feet. The other two are dressed the same as he is. One has brown hair and blue eyes and one has blue hair and purple eyes. Makoto just watches.
"They know who Makoto is, they just don't know what she looks like." whispers Minako.
"H..Hi." says Yuugi.
"I'm Azuba Megumi." says the taller.
"I'm Hakusho Ryo." says the one with blue eyes.
"Mano Kuwabawa." says the last boy.
"We are with the Oni's. You have a choice. Join us or die." says Megumi.
"He might have already joined the Kaijuu's boss." says Ryo.
"No. He is under my protection." says Makoto stepping forward. The Class freezes.
"Ama." says Megumi thinking Makoto is a wimp.
"What did you say?" asks Makoto.
"I called you a ama. So skedaddle." says Megumi. Makoto then punches Megumi in his face, right between his eyes. He flies backwards and lands on a desk.
"Why you!!" yells Kuwabawa punching Makoto. She easily dodges it and brings her knee up, hitting Kuwabawa in his stomach. Kuwabawa falls to the floor, gasping for breath.
"Makoto, are you done yet?" asks Usagi trying not to laugh.
"M..M..Makoto? As in Kino Makoto?" asks Ryo.
"Duh." says Makoto.
"And that weakling has your protection?" asks Megumi standing.
"YUUGI." says Makoto stressing his name, "has my protection." Before Megumi, Ryo, and Kuwabawa can do anything, the bell for the end of class rings. They leave, huffing with the rest of the class.
"So, Yuugi, where are you headed?" asks Usagi.
"PE." says Yuugi glancing at the schedule in his hand.
"Really? So am I. Come on and i'll take you there." says Minako. Yuugi nods and walks off with Minako. In PE, Yuugi played and won at Volleyball, as he was on the same team as Minako. Next, he had Math, and Usagi was in that class. Yuugi ended up teaching Usagi how to understand Slope Intercept Form and how to use it in everyday life. For once, she aced a pop quiz. After Math was English, where Yuugi had to tell them about something he knew. He ended up describing Ancient Egypt, with Yami giving him information through their mental link. Makoto was in that class. Now it is lunch, and Yuugi is looking for somewhere to sit.
"Now where to sit?" asks Yuugi to himself. He doesn't notice twenty boys walk up behind him all dressed the same. They are wearing green pants, green shoes, green shirts, and a green bandanna.
"Look, a new kid." says a boy. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Yuugi turns.
"You are the Kaijuus, right?" asks Yuugi.
"He knows us boss!" says another boy with red hair and green eyes.
"Correct. Name's Shido Tatsuhiko." says the first boy.
"Mouto Yuugi." says Yuugi.
"Now, join us or die." says Shido.
"Why? I'm under Kino Makoto's protection, or does that have no meaning to you?" asks Yuugi. Ten boys step backward, their faces paling.
"Kino Makoto is a wimp." says Shido.
"YUUGI!! There you are!!" yells Usagi running up with Ami, Makoto, Minako, and another girl. This girl has black hair with purple highlights. Her eyes are purple. She is dressed in a brown miniskirt with a brown shirt that has a collar like the other's school uniforms. Brown high heels are on her feet. Red heart on their sides with an arrow at each point is in her ears.
"Hi Usagi-chan." says Yuugi.
"Yuugi, this is Hino Rei, Rei-chan, this is Mouto Yuugi." says Usagi introducing them.
"Hello Hino-san." says Yuugi.
"Hello Mouto-san. Call me Rei." says the girl.
"Then you can call me Yuugi." says Yuugi smiling.
"Come on. You can eat with us and please tell us more about Ancient Egypt!" says Makoto.
"Okay." says Yuugi smiling. They leave the Kaijuus.
"HOLD IT!!" yells Shido.
"Shido, get a new day job." says Makoto over her shoulder. Shido growls and runs forward at the same time. Makoto ducks and pulls Yuugi with her as Shido punches when Makoto's head use to be. Makoto rolls on the ground, hitting Shido's legs, causing him to fall. Shido's head hits the ground with a sickening thud, but nothing comes out of his head, no blood or anything. Makoto stands and brushes the dirt off her uniform.
"Come on. Let's leave these idiots alone." says Makoto. She, Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako, and Yuugi walk off, with Yuugi telling them more about Ancient Egypt.
"Cats were worshiped in Ancient Egypt. It was considered a crime to hurt a cat, and you were automatically killed if you killed a cat, unless it was an accident, then you probably ended up spending your life in the Temple of Bast, praying to be forgiven." says Yuugi. Unknown to him, a black cat with a yellow crescent moon and red orange eyes is watching him.
'He is so familiar...' thinks the cat before jumping on Yuugi's shoulder. Yuugi tenses and stops. Usagi turns and nearly screams in surprise.
"Jesus Luna!! Don't do that!!"says Usagi picking up the cat off Yuugi.
"That's your cat?" asks Yuugi.
"Hai. Luna's her name. Sorry if she scared you." says Usagi pointedly. Luna meows sorrowfully.
"She's a pretty cat." says Yuugi stroking Luna's head. She purrs happily. They sit down and start eating, with Luna on Yuugi's lap. After lunch, Yuugi has Japan History 1, and starts learning about Samarais. After History, he has Modern Japanese, and starts learning how to write Kanji, all forms of it. After Modern Japanese, it's time to go home. Yuugi walks out the door, waving bye to Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako.
"Sayonara!! See you tomorrow!" says Yuugi.
"Bye Yuugi-chan!" yells Usagi. Yuugi smiles and starts walking home.
That's it for Chapter Two. Sorry it took so long to update, my computer's been on the fritz. Also, if this chapter sucked, i'm sorry too. Haven't had a lot of time to think on this fic as schools been taking up most of my time.
1-I made up how she looks, as I didn't know what she looks like. I also tried my hardest on the Senshi and on Sogoroku. Heh. See you next chapter, which should be up soon, or maybe be up with this one.
