Hello minna! Sorry this wasn’t out yesterday, but like I said, I was really busy. Your comments are keeping me going on this fic, so keep them up! I’m determined to finish this one, unlike others I have *Glances at notebook of unfinished fics, sweatdrops* Some of your suggestions and comments are things I might have done anyway! Oh yeah...remember when I said this fic was morphing into almost 2 separate fics? Well, its really becoming apparent now! Just hang in there! And here you go! (Oh yeah, maybe if you’re lucky I’ll have chapter 5 up by the end of the day too!)
~CHAPTER 4~
Shuuichi stared at the door in front of him. He’d been standing there for the last half hour, debating whether or not to ring the bell. Luckily, no one had come or gone, so he wasn’t seen standing there, but he still felt awkward. He wanted to go in, but at the same time he was scared to death to enter...what if Yuki didn’t want to see him at all? What if he wouldn’t take him back.
For the 200th time that half hour, Shuuichi raised his hand to ring the bell. But this time, his finger made contact. *It’s now or never....*
Inside, Yuki jumped when the bell rang. Who the hell was it? Sighing and rubbing his head, Yuki went to answer the door.
As soon as Yuki saw the pink haired boy, his eyes went wide. Shuuichi...had actually come to visit? Yuki said nothing, but looked down to study the boy. Just as Tatsuha described, he looked pathetic. The last time he’d seen him, Shuuichi had been bright and cheerful...this was a drastic contrast to the Shuuichi he loved most.
Nervously, Shuuichi looked at his hands. “Y...Yuki...I...I wanted to talk to you...please don’t turn me away...”
Yuki said nothing, but turned and walked back into the house, leaving the door open as a signal for Shuuichi to follow him.
Shuuichi complied, quietly shutting the door and following. The two sat on the couch, Shuuichi’s eyes never leaving his hands.
“A...anou...Yuki...” before he’d even finished that much, the tears welled up in his eyes. A stray drop fell onto his hand as he clenched his fists even tighter. “I...need you...I don’t think I can go on without you...please...I know...what I did was wrong...b...but...I love you so much...t...take me back....onegai...” Shuuichi buried his head in his arms, tears flowing with full force.
Yuki was a little shocked at Shuuichi’s bluntness. But...as much as he wanted to take the singer in his arms and cuddle him, he couldn’t give in that easily. He wouldn’t. So he said nothing. He just watched the love of his life cry...
“Y...Yuki...say something...please...” Shuuichi turned his tear stained faded violet gaze up to Yuki, eyes pleading.
“Give me time to think.” That was the only thing Yuki could even think about saying. His thoughts were running away from him...mainly to the point that all he wanted was to take the sobbing boy and comfort him.
“H...how long?” Shuuichi’s eyes pleaded.
“A week.” Yuki stood and walked to the window, lighting a cigarette and staring out.
“I...I’ll be back in a week then...” Silently, Shuuichi left, not noticing the tears that fell from Yuki’s eyes.

Hiro rubbed his head as he headed out the door. K had just had a long talk with him, and apparently Hiro’s job was to tell Shuuichi he was re-joining Bad Luck, as well as get Yuki and Shuuichi back together.
Hiro hopped on his bike, unsure of where he was going, but his body knew. He was heading toward Shuuichi’s place, whether he wanted to intentionally or not. He sped through the city, eventually finding himself staring up at the building in front of him. With a sigh, he hopped off his bike, walking to Shuuichi’s door and ringing the bell, praying that he was home, yet another part of him praying that he wasn’t.
Shuuichi paused his crying when the bell rang. Hoping inside it was Yuki, the pink haired boy got up and answered, shocked and a bit pissed at who was there. Hiro had dared to come visit him after what he’d done? Shuuichi’s face turned to a glare, and harshly he spit out a quick “What do you want?!”
Hiro sighed and looked down. “I have a lot of apologizing to do...please just listen?” Shuuichi caught himself copying Yuki’s earlier actions when he walked silently back into the room, letting Hiro follow.
“Shuuichi...I know nothing can ever change the fact that I did something that you didn’t want. And don’t blame yourself, because I pushed you too hard...I took advantage of you. I could never tell you how sorry I am...I didn’t know how serious you and Yuki had become...some little part of me said that I still had time, that I still might be able to have you love me like I’ve loved you for so many years. But I was horribly wrong...I didn’t know how wrong I was until Yuki came by that morning after. I’d tell you what made me realize I was wrong, but I don’t wanna ruin anything...I’m gonna try my best to get you and him back together, so you have another chance, and all I want in return is hopefully your OK for me to join Bad Luck again...”
Hiro stopped and took a deep breath. He’d let his mind spill out all the things he wanted to say, and his gaze turned to Shuuichi as he studied his violet eyes for any signs of emotion.
“D...do you really mean all that Hiro?” Shuuichi said softly, looking up at his (former?) best friend.
“I do. I wouldn’t have said it as I didn’t. Just know I’ll always love you, Shuuichi, but they say when you love someone, let them go. I know how much you love Yuki, and I know now I just want you happy. I’ll be content, just so long as you can smile again. And...I have the feeling that, if I get Yuki to get back with you, that he won’t treat you as coldly as he used to...call it intuition. Just...is there any way you can ever forgive me for what I’ve done?”
Shuuichi thought for a moment before speaking. “I...I forgive you Hiro. I know how foolish and stupid someone can be when there in love...I’ve been that way with Yuki before. And I do love you...just as a best friend. You’ll always be an important person in my life...I think...we might be able to get over this bump in the road...” For the first time in over a week Shuuichi had actually said something intelligent. “And...welcome back to Bad Luck...” Shuuichi smiled a little and hugged his best friend, part of him glad that the two had cleared things up. But that still didn’t change the fact that he dreadfully missed Yuki. Shuuichi could only pray that by the end of the week, Hiro could either convince Yuki to get back with him, or Yuki would let him back on his own. Whatever the case...
“H...Hiro?” Shuuichi looked up at his friend with a questioning look.
“Yeah?” Hiro smiled, glad to see at least a faint shimmer of the old Shuuichi back.
“C...can we get something to eat? I...I haven’t eaten since...since Yuki left me...” Shuuichi looked at his hands, and on cue, his stomach rumbled to break the silence.
Hiro chuckled softly. “Of course...you need to eat...come on, lets go...” With that, the two walked out of the apartment, each feeling a tiny bit better, but both worried about what Yuki would decide...
~~~~~~~~~~
Tatsuha smiled inwardly as he watched Ryuuichi sing. The two had eaten together, and Tatsuha had gotten to know just how much of a nut Ryuuichi really was in person. The first fifteen minutes had been awkward as hell for Tatsuha, but soon he opened up, and now he felt like he’d know Ryuuichi for months rather than just an hour or two.
After lunch, Ryuuichi had invited Tatsuha to come watch him and Nittle Grasper record. Touma had given Tatsuha a slight glare when he recognized him, but it soon left when Ryuuichi explained that he ‘wanted his new friend Tatsu-chan to watch him sing’. Touma knew just how obsessed Tatsuha was with Ryuuichi, and decided he’d let him stay, if only for the fact that he was related to Eiri-san, and that Ryuuichi had begged and pleaded.
So there Tatsuha was, watching the love of his life sing, as he had dreamed of doing so many times in the past. Still in a daze, Tatsuha didn’t realize that they’d decided to stop for the day, until Ryuuichi came out and promptly glomped him. “Ryu-chan wants Tatsu-chan to hang out with him for a while! Kumagoro wants to too! He says he really likes Tatsu-chan! Ryu-chan does too! I want to be Tatsu-chan’s best friend!”
Tatsuha blushed faintly at Ryuuichi’s words, smiling as the genki singer dragged him off, mumbling something about going to the park and playing. Tatsuha was in heaven, and he was spending time with his own personal god.
He felt slightly bad about leaving his still hurting brother at the apartment all alone, but even if he’d wanted to, there was no way that Ryuuichi was going to let him escape at this point. So, Tatsuha smiled and decided to live his dream...besides, he didn’t know if Ryuuichi would still want to be his friend the next day, although something inside told him that he would.
Ah, Tatsuha was SO glad he’d decided to check up on Shuuichi. So very, very glad.
~~~~~~~~~~
Yuki hadn’t moved one bit from his spot in front of the window. His mind was in a fierce debate...should he take Shuuichi back, which his heart told him to do, or should he shove him away forever like his brain wanted him to?
Yuki moved over to the couch, sitting down as his head started to spin. Not another one of these headaches...
Shivers wracked over Yuki’s body as he shakily coughed, blood dripping down over his hand. It was happening again...he had thought these episodes were over...then again, he and Shuuichi were still together before...
His last conscious thought was of Shuuichi before he collapsed to the floor and blacked out.
~~~~~~~~~~
After rehearsal, Touma decided to go check up on Yuki. He hadn’t heard from the writer in a day or two, and he decided it was time to at least make sure he was still alright.
Touma knocked on the door with a gloved hand, frowning slightly when no answer came. After a few repetitions of this, he pulled out the spare key he’d coaxed out of Yuki and opened the door. Walking around, Touma was shocked with what he found...
Yuki had fallen over on the floor, laying in a haphazard ball, line of blood leading down his chin. His hand and shirt were also blood stained. His episodes had started back up...this is the main thing Touma had been afraid of when he heard that Yuki and Shuuichi had parted.
Quickly, Touma ran to the phone and called an ambulance...he had to get Yuki to the hospital as soon as possible. The next call he made was to Mika, informing her that her brother had collapsed and telling her to meet Touma there as soon as she could.
Touma rode with the paramedics and the still unconscious Yuki to the hospital, praying that his condition hadn’t gotten too serious...
Just then Touma realized, wasn’t Tatsuha supposed to have been staying with Yuki? Who knows how long Yuki had been passed out there...where was Tatsuha to watch over him? Then Touma remembered Ryuuichi pulling Tatsuha off after the recording...Touma loved Ryuuichi, but dammit, sometimes he just did the most annoying little things...
Inside the hospital, Touma met up with Mika as the doctors took care of Yuki...he called Shuuichi and left a message, since he figured it was the right thing to do...he knew that if Shuuichi still loved Yuki, it was important that he came...it was going to be a long, long night.
~~~~~~~~~
Hiro and Shuuichi had finished lunch and Hiro was taking Shuuichi back to his place when he realized something wasn’t right...he didn’t know what it was, but he could sense that someone close to him was in trouble. He kept this hidden from Hiro though, and stayed silent the ride home.
Hiro decided to spend a little more time with Shuuichi, just to make sure he would be ok if Hiro left. He somehow sensed uneasiness coming from the singer, but he shrugged it off, thinking he was probably just a little nervous, considering how the last meeting between the two had gone.
They walked in and sat on the couch and talked, neither noticing the flashing light on Shuuichi’s answering machine...
TO BE CONTINUED!
